I am a dedicated creator of children’s books, inspired by my six delightful dachshunds, who also star in an animated series. Through these stories and animations, I aim to spark joy and imagination in young readers. My passion extends beyond my own projects, as I also offer my expertise to help companies create engaging short animations for their products. Seeing children immerse themselves in reading and enjoying animated tales is my greatest reward.

SALLY'S SIX

Who is Gregg...

Gregg is the oldest of the dachshund family and he is named after a famous ‘Sausage Roll’ shop.  Gregg likes nothing more than to play with a toy, especially a ball.  He prefers to play on his own but he will occasionally join in a game of chase with his brothers and sisters.  Gregg likes his routine and doesn’t cope well with change.  When you get to know him he is the loveliest boy with the funniest character.

Who is Mabel...

Mabel is the second oldest, she has the biggest heart and she loves nothing more than to be snuggled on my lap having a cuddle.  She has taken the role on of being the mum of the group, and keeps the younger ones from getting into mischief.  Mabel always loves to please and loves every aspect of life, sometimes I think she is more human than dog, as she seems to know exactly what I’m saying to her.

Who is Margo...

Margo is the third oldest and is a true girly girl, she loves dressing up and owns her title of Princess Margo.  She also loves life and a cuddle and has to be first at everything, as soon as the collar and leads come out she is there on my lap “me first”.  Margo is the best behaved when out walking and comes back first time when called, unlike her younger siblings.

Who is Hugo...

Hugo is a big softy, he is clumsy and whenever there is a mishap he is right in the middle of it.  He loves to wind his brother Harvey up to get him to chase him and then do zoomies round the garden and in the house. Hugo also loves to snuggle up beside me and put his head on my shoulder.

Who is Daphne...

Daphne is full sister to Margo but a year younger, and from the same litter as Hugo and Harvey.  She is a true tom boy, and likes nothing more than to be rolling round the garden playing chase with her brothers.  Daphne likes to steal trainers and shoes and when you catch her she gives you the biggest eyes ever which is very difficult to tell her off, even though she has redesigned your best trainers.

Who is Harvey...

Harvey likes to strut everywhere, he loves to be with his humans and feel secure.  He like Gregg, loves a game with a ball and loves nothing more than for the others to chase him when he gets hold of it.  Harvey loves his food and his walks in the forest although can be very noisy at times which sets them all off.
